What this site is
This is a directory of home inspection businesses. It is published for general information. It is not professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a home inspection carried out on the property you intend to buy or sell.
What a listing does not mean
A listing is not a recommendation, an endorsement, a certification, or a warranty. Appearing in this directory does not mean a business has been vetted by us.
- Listings are compiled from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date.
- Credentials, licences, insurance and service areas shown are claims made by the business on its own website unless expressly stated otherwise. We do not verify them.
- Ratings and review counts belong to the platform that produced them and are attributed accordingly. We do not generate ratings.
- Ordering, including any “featured” placement, is an editorial and commercial decision. It is not a ranking of competence.
Confirm licensing, insurance and qualifications directly with any inspector before engaging them.Requirements differ by province, state and municipality.
Your dealings with listed businesses
Any contract you enter into with an inspection business is between you and that business. We are not a party to it, we take no commission on it, and we are not responsible for the work performed, the reports produced, or any loss arising from them.
Paid placement
Some businesses pay for featured placement. Paid placement affects prominence only. It does not affect ratings, and it does not buy a favourable description. Where a commercial relationship exists, it does not change the factual content of a listing.
Links to other sites
Links to businesses’ own websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest or bulk-copy listings for a competing directory or for marketing;
- collect contact details from this site to send unsolicited communications;
- attempt to interfere with the site’s operation or security;
- misrepresent yourself as the owner of a business in order to alter its listing.
Intellectual property
The layout, written content and compilation of this directory are owned by the operator. Business names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and appear here to identify those businesses. Their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
Corrections and takedown
If you own a listed business you may have your listing corrected or removed at any time, free of charge and without condition. See Is this your company?
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, business or data, arising from your use of this site or from your dealings with any business listed on it.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify the operator against claims arising from your misuse of this site or your breach of these terms.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you where you live.
